Courtesy of osneaker.com, some new images have surfaced of the upcoming Nike LeBron 8 v2 “Christmas”—release date set for December 26th. The LeBron 8 v2 is LBJ’s alternate signature shoe which features a similar silhouette to the standard pair, but with a lightweight, translucent upper breaking up the embedded Flywire, rather than the normal leather. The colorway is inspired by the Christmas season, with a red upper, white-speckled black midsole and white outsole to go along with green laces. Just last week, we prophetically pegged the Nike LeBron X EXT Black Suede release date for July 20. Well I hope you’re sitting down, because today we can officially confirm the US release for shoe and it’ll come . . . July 20.The ultra-premium shoe utilizes Nike Basketball’s LeBron X silhoeutte, but incorporates Nike Sportswear’s fashion-first styling. A luxe black suede upper sets the tone, with buttery brown leather complementing on the tongue and sockliner, while a crisp white midsole and mint accents in the full-length Zoom Air unit and on the lacelets round out the look. Retail is $250 and an instant sellout is likely.Nike LeBron X EXT QSBlack/Black-Dark Field Brown-TourmalineStyle #: 607078-00120 July 2013$250
