Today brings yet another look, the most detailed to date, of the upcoming Nike LeBron 11 Forging Iron, release date for which is unfortunately still unknown. Can’t be too long, though. The latest backstory-rich XI, the Forging Iron utilizes aesthetics inspired by the iron production process, with the two-tone-orange color-shifting throughout the upper a nod to the colors of super-heated, liquified iron.Silver meanwhile adds stark contrast on the Swoosh and lace-lock, while an icily translucent outsole completes the colorway. Stay tuned for details as they develop and check out plenty of photos below.Nike LeBron 11Urban Orange/Light Armory Blue-Laser OrangeStyle #: 616175-800Photos courtesy of Kenlu.
The 2013 NBA All-Star Game’s presence in Houston means, among other things, the potential for plenty more “Galaxy”-themed shoes. (Remember, the print originated as an All-Star Game tie-in this year thanks to the Orlando locale.)And while the Nike LeBron X GS Galaxy opts for a much different, perhaps Lunar-influenced style — the purple upper and red midsole are covered in a cratered pattern, finished with 3M-style reflective treatment — is there any doubt that, if men’s sizes (GS = “grade school”) were to hit stores, an instant sellout would be eminent? Stay tuned for further info on a potential LeBron X Galaxy as well as other 2013 All-Star-styled shoes.
