The result is equal parts eye-catching, stylish and suited for summer.Details are still scarce, so stay tuned for a launch date as soon as we have it. At the moment, July looks like a fairly certain bet for the shoe’s release.Photos via Marquee Sole.Previous story Nike SB P-Rod 7 VR | First Two ColorwaysNext story Nike Air Max 1 VT Vachetta PackRelated PostsWatch: DJ Qualls and his “$5000” LeBron XFebruary 26, 2014Nike LeBron X Low REPTILE Releases in Two DaysOctober 8, 2013Nike LeBron X Low REPTILE Release DateOctober 1, 2013Honey Nut Cheerios x Nike LeBron X MUST BE THE HONEYSeptember 3, 2013FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form. Last week, we announced the upcoming Nike LeBron X Championship Pack release date — it’s set for August 10. Now we can give you that price, which is slightly less exciting. The special edition set, commemorating LeBron James’s second overall (and consecutive) NBA title, will retail for $500. Granted, that’s not an insignificant sum, but it’ll net you a pretty respectable haul. First, there’s the red-and-black LeBron X PS Elite, with ample gold accents for a regal, “championship” look. And also included is the LeBron X Low, sporting a more Miami-oriented print that includes palm trees and birds of paradise, set against a matte black skin and finished with glow-in-the-dark outsole. Both shoes also feature celebratory insoles that read 2-Time Champion and 11-12, 12-13.The pack will be available exclusively from Nikestore.com (via a link tweeted by @Nikestore) and at NIKETOWN New York, Nike Georgetown, Nike Chicago, Nike Roosevelt Field, Nike Lenox and Nike Santa Monica. Available sizes will be 8-12, 13 and 14.

Created for LeBron himself for a charity softball game, this is the Nike LeBron 7 cleat. (His shoe was called the Air Max LeBron VII back then, but I think with the last couple of LeBrons we’ve moved past that naming style.) The shoe actually resembles a football cleat as much as a baseball shoe, but with LBJ’s history with football he may just prefer that style. Anyway, while this is arguably LeBron’s best model to date, and it would look great on baseball and football fields worldwide, don’t expect that to happen.
