The LeBron 9, while sharing some general aesthetics with the LeBron 8, is something of a departure from past shoes in the LeBron line, most notably thanks to the emphasis on carbon fiber covering most of the rear of the shoe. In terms of technology, the 9 looks impressive so far, including a Max Air unit covering the back half of the midsole and a carbon fiber mid-foot shank on the instep. Hit the jump to check out plenty of photos of the shoe, and stick with NikeBlog for all things LeBron 9. Bright red accents add a pop of colorful accenting — such as on the unique heel details, which include a take on the Vitruvian Man — while an icy blue outsole perfectly balances out the look.Further information as it develops but, at the moment, launch info is as follows.Nike LeBron 12 “Lion Heart”Red/White-BlackStyle #: 684593-60131 October 2014$200Photos via ajthh.Previous story New Miami Hurricanes Helmets | A Closer LookNext story Air Jordan 1 KO Hi Black/Sport Blue | On-Foot ImagesRelated PostsNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningApril 28, 2015Nike LeBron 12 Low “Entourage” Release NearsApril 27, 2015Nike LeBron 12 EXT “Rubber City” Release DateApril 24, 2015Nike LeBron 12 Low “Entourage” | In DetailApril 23, 2015FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form. Inspired by LeBron James’s first NBA title and the accompanying celebratory champagne, the Nike LeBron X Cork is the first LeBron signature shoe designed by Nike Sportswear, with a priority put on everyday fashion over on-court function. Genuine cork is used for the upper’s exterior, with matching brown leather on the tongue and a starkly contrasting white midsole. And today we have another look at the shoe, albeit a limited one, proving that — even without a professional Nike photoshoot — it looks incredible. Hit the jump for a full look.Photo via Rachel J.
