(Though I doubt that’s any consolation for him at the moment.)The first LeBron James Finals shoe was debuted last night — he’ll have more than one and we’ll certainly keep track — a Nike LeBron X Elite Finals PE. The red-based shoe is set off with black carbon fiber and a gold Swoosh, ideally matching the Heat’s unis while acknowledging the championship implications of the series.Enjoy another fleeting glimpse or two below, and stay tuned for plenty more LeBron James Finals shoes as the series progresses.Photos via ESPN.Previous story Nike #BETRUE Collection | Hitting RetailersNext story Heads Up: Air Jordan 11 Low GS Pink Snakeskin Releases 6/8Related PostsWatch: DJ Qualls and his “$5000” LeBron XFebruary 26, 2014Nike LeBron 11 Duke PE & LeBron X Elite Duke PENovember 5, 2013Nike LeBron X Low REPTILE Releases in Two DaysOctober 8, 2013Nike LeBron X Low REPTILE Release DateOctober 1, 2013FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form. Annually one of LeBron James’s most anticipated colorways, irrespective of model, the “Dunkman” motif reveals itself once more on the king’s latest — the Nike LeBron 12 Dunkman.A variation on the usual Dunkman palette is present, simply?integrated into LeBron’s distinctly different new signature model — soft grey comprises the woven mesh upper, a darker shade covers the stabilizing overlays, and neon green adds flash and flair, popping off the liner, branding and various other accents. (Notably that includes the “6” that appears on each medial side, a digit that’ll presumably switch to “23” before these hit mass production.)Note that this is a GS version of the LeBron 12, so there are minor differences between this and the men’s version. Further details as they develop. . . .Photos via Supplied.
Another insanely neck-breaking LeBron X sample to preview today, a sort of on-court edition of the recent denim Brons. Behold!, the Nike LeBron X Black Denim sample. The shoe sports one-piece black denim draping the entire upper, with a crackled red pattern contrasting on the midsole, matching up with the upper’s accents.Unlike the Nike Sportswear-appropriated, purely-lifestyle LeBron X EXT editions, this pair actually features the inner-padding and insole to be played in.This is purely a promotional pair at the moment – ie no release is planned — but could we see King James unexpectedly lace them up someday? I mean . . . yeah, of course. Anything’s possible.
