The three pairs available feature colorways of cool grey/white-midnight navy, sport red/varsity royal-white and light bone/calder brown, for the New Jersey Nets, CSKA Moscow and Cleveland Browns, respectively. The Nets are thought to be a legitimate contender for Bron’s services (but let’s be honest, they’re not), CSKA Moscow was the Russian team that mentioned they’d be willing to pay him a boatload of money if he wanted to cross the Atlantic, to which one of his boys said he would seriously consider such an offer (but of course he wouldn’t, let’s not be absurd) and the Browns colorway is inspired by the public’s constant wondering if LeBron could play football, as well as that State Farm commercial that placed him in a Browns uniform. Check out a few more pictures after the jump.Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low RP--Cleveland BrownsNike Air Max LeBron VII Low RP--CSKA MoscowNike Air Max LeBron VII Low RP--New Jersey NetsPrevious story Nike Dunk High SB Skunk QSNext story LeBron VII Postseason Black/Red Release ChangedFacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form. As you can see this is a significant departure from the product that will hit shelves, but at the same time the prototype seems to represent a deconstructed, stripped down version (even the Flywire is bare, without the extra layer of Hyperfuse added on). I think everyone can agree that the retail-version of the LeBron 9 is the better of the two (check out the Miami Hurricanes-inspired colorway), but would this deconstructed “9” prototype have been worth purchasing? And while LeBron has moved on to Miami, the school continues to get that special treatment. The Nike LeBron 11 Christ the King PE pairs a maroon Fuse-and-mesh base with white Hyperposite piecing on the upper, while gold contrasts on the liner, outsole, Swoosh and Flywire. On the heel, a K is encircled by a C, proudly announcing the shoe’s school affiliation.Unlike in some years past, there’s no expection that any of the LeBron 11 high school PEs will hit retail this year, though we’ll bring you updates if that changes.
