Well there’s probably not much chance of that happening when the player in question is LeBron James, so I can say with a pretty good amount of certainty that you’ll see the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 All-Star Game PE on February 20th. The shoe features some subtle gradient fading from dark blue or black to something more similar to varsity royal with a bit of contrasting white on the Swoosh and midsole. I’m not sure at the moment if this is part of a greater design theme for All-Star edition shoes, like last year’s woodgrain print we saw on the Kobe V’s and LeBron VII’s, among others, but stick with NikeBlog for updates and release news.#gallery-1 {margin: auto;}#gallery-1 .gallery-item {float: left;margin-top: 10px;text-align: center;width: 33%;}#gallery-1 img {border: 2px solid #cfcfcf;}#gallery-1 .gallery-caption {margin-left: 0;}/* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */Nike LeBron 8 V/2 All-Star Game PENike LeBron 8 V/2 All-Star Game PENike LeBron 8 V/2 All-Star Game PENike LeBron 8 V/2 All-Star Game PENike LeBron 8 V/2 All-Star Game PENike LeBron 8 V/2 All-Star Game PENike LeBron 8 V/2 All-Star Game PEPrevious story Video: TomTom x Nike SportWatch GPSNext story Nike Air Pegasus ’92 White/Bright Orange-ConcordFacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form. The Miami Floridians were a pro basketball franchise in the ABA, now long defunct following a brief, seven-year existence in several different incarnations in the late-60s and early-70s. It’s safe to say they had officially fallen victim to time and memory, having been remembered mostly, when at all, for winning few games and playing many of their home matches in an aircraft hangar with no air conditioning, meaning the facility’s doors were often open during games to welcome in game-changing ocean breezes.Today however, they again possess a modicum of fame with basketball fans, who now know them as the team that inspired the Miami Heat’s occasional “Floridans” throwback uniforms and, moreover, a near-annual edition of LeBron’s current-at-the-time signature shoe. Today we get another look at this year’s take on the latter, the Nike LeBron 11 Low Floridians.Mixing the tropical style of the Floridians uniforms, the shoe sports orange throughout the sleek, Posite-less upper of the lowtop XI, with occasional pink accents and a speckled grey midsole offering contrast. Not just a throwback-matching homage, the Floridians‘ soft orange upper is a perfect shoe for the summer, fitting, in that it hits retailers June 14.Updates as they develop.Photos via SG.
We’re in the homestretch now, with the Nike LeBron X Low University Red release date scheduled for this Saturday, June 15th.Deep red colors the Hyperfuse upper, with crimson Flywire complementing from the side panels, while grey trim offers ample contrast on the tongue, midsole and accenting. Retail is $165 and demand will likely be robust, though not historically high.Nike Air Max LeBron X LowUniversity Red/Pure Platinum-Stadium Grey-Total CrimsonStyle #: 579765-60015 June 2013$165
