The LeBron 11 was another commercial success for the Swoosh, even if LeBron James himself didn’t wear it as often as he has past signature models. All the more reason to start anticipating the King’s next shoe; a shoe we get our first look at today. Behold — the Nike LeBron 12!There’s still plenty of information we’ll need to gather, but here’s one thing I do know: this is absolutely the LeBron 12, no ambiguity about it. It was always expected to be a big departure from the norm for LeBron, and these first photos only bear that out.The upper is stripped down and streamlined, with the usual Posite, Hyperfuse and mesh replaced instead with composite mesh and what may even be some manner of performance knit, a la Flyknit or the like. Some kind of cables — Dynamic Flywire or perhaps Magwire — reinforce the foot and sync up through the laces, and the outsole employs bottom-loaded Zoom Air units for explosive cushioning. It’s still very early, so stay tuned for details, but let me reiterate that the legitimacy of the design has been confirmed: You’re looking at the Nike LeBron 12.Photos via Kicks or Die.
The general release away edition of the shoe is set to hit stores on October 15th, and now we get our first look at the Nike LeBron 9 – Kentucky (Home) edition. Taking a similar approach to the away edition, the home pair largely replaces black with white, laying the light tone against blue on the toe, inner-lining and carbon fiber textile. Like the Miami pair we recently previewed, these sport the school logo on the tongue. Also like that Miami edition, only the players’ pairs will feature the logo, while the general release will simply feature LeBron’s signature across the tongue. Photo via Mjmvp23 (niketalk.com)

The Air Max LeBron VII Low “Rumors”–NJ Nets opts for it’s silver color; not exactly their main color, but I guess things would get confusing with another red or blue colorway, as we’ve already seen a pair honoring the NY Knicks and CSKA Moscow. Check out more pictures after the jump, and stay tuned for the last colorway in the pack.
