But as we approach the rumored Nike LeBron X Brown Suede release date of April 26, could this latest LeBron X EXT colorway set the new standard? While it doesn’t quite match the creativity of the “Cork,” the LeBron X Brown Suede succeeds based purely on style. Incorporating the impressive technology that’s made the X a beacon of performance — full-length Zoom unit, Dynamic Flywire, one-piece construction — the shoe adds premium brown suede to the exterior for a clean, stylish look, while a tan leather sockliner takes comfort up a few notches.Come release time, expect limited quantities and a quick sellout.Photos via Sneaker Yeti.Previous story Jordan 1st Crib, Because Babies Needs J’s TooNext story Nike Lunar Presto Turquoise/VoltRelated PostsWatch: DJ Qualls and his “$5000” LeBron XFebruary 26, 2014Nike LeBron X Low REPTILE Releases in Two DaysOctober 8, 2013Nike LeBron X Low REPTILE Release DateOctober 1, 2013Honey Nut Cheerios x Nike LeBron X MUST BE THE HONEYSeptember 3, 2013FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form. Credit who you will for the trend — the Yeezy 2, perhaps? — but it sure seems like we may look back upon 2014 as the year of the predominantly-red shoe, as evidenced by styles like the Air Jordan 6 Infrared 23, Dunk High Red Packet and this, the tentatively-titled Nike LeBron 11 NSW Lifestyle Red. (I imagine a more creative moniker is en route as we speak.)Following design cues similar to those abovementioned shoes, the off-court ‘Bron sports a red suede upper that gives way to the stony piecing around the heel, while black starkly contrasts on the midsole, inner-lining and tongue-tag. (Not to pat my own back, but I did sort of call my shot on this one. . . .)Stay tuned for exact release info, likely not far off.Via Venture Blake.

Two-time NBA champion. Pitchman for world’s most popular signature shoe. Soda tycoon.Indeed, LeBron James, already an endorser for Sprite, is adding another entry to his already-robust résumé, as the Coca-Cola-owned beverage giant recently announced the Sprite 6Mix by LeBron James. The special edition pop flavor — or offshoot series, really — was co-developed by the King himself to replicate the way he likes to drink the world famous lemon-lime soda: with a twist of cherry and orange flavors.LeBron’s Sprite 6Mix is available for a limited time, in 19.2-ounce cans and 20-ounce bottles, so put down the Surge and go stock up. Goes great with Combos and 3D Doritos, I imagine.Previous story Nike Lunar 180 Trainer SC Cool Grey/Atomic OrangeNext story Nike Air Foamposite Pro YEEZY Release DateRelated PostsThe Year in Nike Films | 10 Best Swoosh AdsDecember 30, 2014Watch: LeBron James Talks Signature ShoesDecember 2, 2014Watch: LeBron James ‘Together’ Ad Celebrates Cleveland UnityOctober 30, 2014Watch: Sprite Imagines “LeBron James’ First Home Game”October 28, 2014FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form.
