The NBA season is over and the lockout is on, so does that mean no more LeBrons? Definitely not, as today brings us our first look at arguably the most out-of-the-ordinary, eye-catching colorway to date—the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low “Miami Night” (release date unannounced as yet). The shoe features a colorful upper fading back and forth between red and turquoise, with speckles adding a unique flair to the shoe. The outsole and Max Air unit are lit up with red, while the lacing assembly, Swoosh and midsole offer contrasting white. The Nike LeBron 9 Low Liverpool release date is official, finally bringing to stores the shoe inspired by Liverpool FC, the team in which LeBron owns a minority stake. Most of the potentially-copyright-infringing details are gone (I assume that’s why, anyway), but the stripped down version is still an absolute home run. Red covers the upper with teal present on most of the branding and the Max Air unit, while black adds the occasional contrast. Details under the jump. The more I’ve been looking at the Zoom LeBron VI, the more I want to like. Heavy on the patent leather, Zoom Air (ergo no visible air unit), and the dual-colored upper seem like a good idea on paper. There just haven’t been many good colorways … until now. The Nike Zoom LeBron 6 St. Vincent-St. Mary Away Edition is absolutely amazing. Only catch … [wait for it] …No release is scheduled. While the LeBron 6 St. Vincent-St. Mary HOME PE edition is scheduled to have a limited release at the House of Hoops, the Away edition—pictured here—is thus far just a team PE for LeBron’s high school. Let’s hope upon hope that this winds up getting a proper release as it is the cleanest color by far. Forest green is always a really underrated colorway, but when you combine it with gold accents and a good amount of white you’ve got an aesthetic jackpot. I’ll update this space if any release is announced. Via NikeLeBron.net
