After months of anticipation — 11 years’ worth, really, depending on how you look at it — this weekend is finally here, bringing with it the first Nike LeBron 11 release date, specifically the “King’s Pride” edition. The model’s premiere colorway sports a sort of green-tinted gold through the lightweight Hyperposite piecing, overlaid on olive Hyperfuse synthetics which in turn give way to breathable black mesh through the midfoot.Red Flywire eyelets stabilize without adding weight, while a multicolored inner-lining adds a distinct “South Beach” flair. There’s way too much technology in this shoe to cover in a small space, so read all the background on the LeBron XI here, and check out a few more looks below. In addition to hitting brick-and-mortar retailers, the shoe will also drop online tomorrow at 8a EDT. Buy it here on Eastbay.com, though purchase functionality won’t go live until 8a. Anticipation is very high, so a quick sellout is entirely possible.Nike LeBron 11Parachute Gold/Arctic Green-Dark Loden-Black-University RedStyle #: 616175-70012 October 2013$200
In addition to the Oregon Ducks Trainer 1.3 Mid Shield, another college-based shoe is set to hit stores tomorrow: the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Kentucky’ release date is scheduled for tomorrow, October 15th at select retailers like MrRSportsMiami.com. Additionally, the shoe, which features a mix of black and blue over the upper with some white contrasting, will be available tonight at midnight EDT on nikestore.com (that means 9p PDT). While the shoe makes perfect use of the Kentucky colors, much like the ‘home’ version previewed yesterday, the general release version will not feature the Kentucky logo on the tongue.#gallery-1 {margin: auto;}#gallery-1 .gallery-item {float: left;margin-top: 10px;text-align: center;width: 33%;}#gallery-1 img {border: 2px solid #cfcfcf;}#gallery-1 .gallery-caption {margin-left: 0;}/* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */Nike LeBron 9 – Kentucky PENike LeBron 9 – Kentucky PENike LeBron 9 – Kentucky PENike LeBron 9 – Kentucky PENike LeBron 9 – Kentucky PENike LeBron 9 – Kentucky PENike LeBron 9 – Kentucky PENike LeBron 9 – Kentucky PENike LeBron 9 – Kentucky PENike LeBron 9 – Kentucky PE
We’ve seen a number of new colorways on LeBron James’s upcoming twelfth signature model, today we get a look at a perennially anticipated edition of the LeBron series, heretofore unseen on the XII. Introducing the Nike LeBron 12 Dunkman.Sporting that always-attractive palette for which the “Dunkman” tradition is known, the shoe pairs black overlays with a grey mesh base on the upper, while neon green pops off the inner-lining and Swoosh-outline. Beneath, an icy outsole adds a certain premium effect, while LeBron’s previous jersey number, 6, appears on each medial collar, presumably about 17 digits short of the number that will appear on the release edition. (LBJ is wearing 23 this season, if you somehow managed to miss that.)No word yet on a release date, but it seems likely these will find their way to shops eventually, sans that “6.” Stay tuned.Photos via Cop2Rock.
