In a bit of a change of pace from the Air Max LeBron VII previewed earlier, the Dunkman version is anything but subtle, sporting a standard black upper—rife with Flywire, leather and patent leather—combined with a vibrant neon green air unit, outsole and accents. The black laces feature a pattern made with reflective 3M material. The colorway actually matches up closely with one of the Total Max Uptempos, although obviously the design is a bit different. Look for these in March, the better part of a year since we first previewed them. Via Sneakerhotline.comNike Air Max LeBron VII DunkmanNike Air Max LeBron VII DunkmanNike Air Max LeBron VII Dunkman

As you can see this is a significant departure from the product that will hit shelves, but at the same time the prototype seems to represent a deconstructed, stripped down version (even the Flywire is bare, without the extra layer of Hyperfuse added on). I think everyone can agree that the retail-version of the LeBron 9 is the better of the two (check out the Miami Hurricanes-inspired colorway), but would this deconstructed “9” prototype have been worth purchasing? In this case, we have the Nike Air Max LeBron VII medium grey/white-electric green (release date very soon), which features white leather surrounding a medium grey Flywire window, white painted on Swoosh and strands on the Flywire, and electric green on the outsole, inner-lining and in the air pocket. Look for these to quickstrike very soon, and check out more images after the cut. And just to clarify some misinformation being given out, these are not Dunkmans, as they don’t have the Dunkman logo.
