I hate to keep sharing cleats you’ll never have a legit chance at, but these are just a little too cool to pass up. Created for LeBron himself for a charity softball game, this is the Nike LeBron 7 cleat. (His shoe was called the Air Max LeBron VII back then, but I think with the last couple of LeBrons we’ve moved past that naming style.) The shoe actually resembles a football cleat as much as a baseball shoe, but with LBJ’s history with football he may just prefer that style. Anyway, while this is arguably LeBron’s best model to date, and it would look great on baseball and football fields worldwide, don’t expect that to happen. Photos via facebook.com/lrj23news

Today the shoe got its official unveiling, meaning we can finally pass along Swoosh-furnished photos. The shoe’s eye-popping mix of oranges and gradient yellow are taken from the colors of molten iron as it undergoes a liquefying metamorphosis, with fiery orange representing fresh-from-the-furnace malleable iron, the gradient orange-yellow representing sparks and the metallic green Swoosh representing the metal as it cools. As mentioned above, you can expect to see the Forging Iron LeBron 11 on shelves come November.
